Dacey has an inflammatory style ("avaricious industry" and "financial Moloch" are representative epithets), but amply demonstrates, largely from the industry's own sources, how agents strive to sell high-commission cash value policies that leave customers under-insured. His advice: Buy term and invest the difference. While this is a valuable source, it has an enormous amount of detail and is far too repetitious. I had so much promise that I was planning to buy the whole series. But after reading this that is never going to happen! Based on the great reviews and the promise that it was in the same vein, but better then Fifty shades of Grey. This doesn’t even come close. This story is painfully slow. The only thing that is quick is the sex and how fast the two main characters fall in to bed with each other, over and over and over again. And this is straight up sex not romantic lovemaking, but borderline sexual abuse. The sex is repetitive and boring at best. The main story line is ridiculous easy to figure out. And the rest of the story lines are all left dangling with a cliffhanger ending. This was a total waste of my time. I don’t know how it has gotten so many 5 star reviews, guess there’s no accounting for taste. If this book wasn’t free I’d want a refund. I will be erasing this from my kindle and would only recommend this book to someone I didn’t like so that they could waste their time. All in all this book if you could call it that since it’s not a complete story and I hesitate to call it that was GARBAGE!

Nipple obsession for another. The word nipple appeared SIX times on ONE page! It is amazing how poorly written the dialog is and the characters and storyline are unbelievable. Glad it was a freebie. Just don't waste your time

This book had too much monotonous sex. Lots of sex scenes, all the same. My #1 problem with this book is the underlying story of a boy who endured a horrible sex crime at the age of ten. Talon, the main character had a tortured life but we don't get to see what happened unless we buy more books. What this says to me is that the author is more interested in lining her pockets than she is in satisfying her readers. My response to her is "Go to Hell" and I will be sure to never purchase another of her books.

I’ve only given a 1 star review one other time. This book was bad. Thank goodness this book was free because I would’ve asked for a refund (a first) if I could. So many inconsistencies in the storyline, it was ridiculous. The big secret I figured out quickly and it was torturous to try to continue so I gave up. I can’t believe it received so many “positive” reviews and there are 8 more books. No thank you!

Ir was just ok, but i am furious that it is a cliffhanger. On top of it all, the following books are *expensive* !

I didn't have alot of expectations with this new to me author...but I was floored. Talon and Jade's story is absolutely riveting. The characters are all flawed but perfect, if that makes any sense. The horror that is Talon (and the Steel Brothers lives) sucks you right in. The sexy times were just hot, hot, hot. Your heart sinks and flies and you wonder what next? What will be revealed? I hated to see it end.

A captivating first in series by Helen Hardt. The series is touted as a "saga" and it definitely lives up to that class of romance novel. If you're a fan of some other hyped up romance novels you will love this one even more. No cheesy dialogue or awkward character situations. The characters are REAL and...you guessed it...HOT. Make sure you have a cold glass of wine by your side when you start reading. You will definitely want to read the rest of the series after this book.

This is such an awesome series. These characters drew me in and took my breath away. This series has all kinds of emotions, mystery and intrigue a reader could want. The brothers are all hot throbs, of course, but each one has his own unique style. Lord, I loved these books. I have read all the books in the series so far and cant wait for the next one. Highly recommend reading this series. You wont be disappointed.
